30 down 10 to go!

Mommy hopes it's actually a little less than 10 weeks to go until we meet my little sister. However, with how things are going for Aunt Rachel, she's a little nervous! Aunt Rachel's due date has come and gone and we still haven't met the new little girl Preslar. (That's Aunt Rachel's last name...not the name of the baby!) So here's a picture of Mommy's belly. I kiss it every day. So hopefully this means I understand that I won't be the lone wolf for long.

And I was being especially adorable today. As we took the picture of Mommy's belly, I really wanted my picture taken too! I was even posing and smiling and saying cheese. Highly unusual behavior!


I was recently taught how to play "Ring-Around-the-Rosie" much to the dismay of my constantly dizzy Mommy! But she's also teaching me "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes" to try and distract me. Here's proof of how adorable I was today.

Graduation!

We apologize that it has been so long between posts. And unfortunately we don't even have our super cute photos to make up for it. They are all in St. George on Grandma and Grandpa's camera. We'll try and get them so you can see how much fun I had on our vacation.

That's right, I went on vacation to St. George. We got to stay a whole week. Uncle Marty graduated from Desert HIlls High School. He was actually part of the first graduating class because it was a brand new high school. He was the "Original Thunder" as their student body president put it. It made it so that the whole ceremony thing wasn't too boring for me. Only 100 graduating students...we were done in just over an hour. It was great. And everyone was so proud of Uncle Marty. He even got quoted in the local newspaper!

We stayed a whole week because Grandma went on the Graduation Trip as a chaperone so she was gone for the weekend and she wanted time with me. (Who wouldn't, right?) Grandma stayed up all night at Disneyland with a bunch of 18 year old graduates. Crazy lady. I was happy to see her when she came back though. Mommy was relieved to find out that I switched personalities since moving out of Grandma's house. I was happy to see EVERYONE. Including Uncle Marty and Grandpa. I even let both of them hold me....with my mom out of the room. We have photographic evidence in case it was a momentary change in personality. I was a perfect angel and was sociable and nice!

One of the big bonuses of the week was that I got to meet my second cousin, Parker. His mommy is my mommy's cousin, Trisha. We are only 8 weeks apart in age (and mommy and Trisha are only 8 weeks apart too!) He came to visit with his Grandma and Grandpa..boy are they brave. He's from Florida and they took him to the West Coast for almost 3 whole weeks without his mommy! He is even more sociable than me which is maybe why I stepped it up a notch.

We had a great time in the St. George heat. Grandpa took us out on the boat twice and I swam every day with the exception of Sunday and I got to play with doggies galore and jump on the tramp and hang out with my aunts and uncles. SO MUCH FUN. Mommy and I didn't want to leave. I'm sure Daddy would have stayed too but let's face it...he likes the mountains more than mommy.

Daddy Did It!

Daddy ran in his first race today! (Okay he ran in a 3k when he was in fourth grade, but we're not counting that!) Did you know my Daddy wants to be a runner? I didn't either, but he signed up to do a neighborhood 5k for this morning. He did it in 32 minutes...but he didn't start running until probably two weeks ago. So big accomplishment. The weather was perfect for it. A nice cool spring morning. We're so proud of him!


And here is a token photo of me showing how I voluntarily confine myself during some of Daddy's work hours. I can get in it, but I can't get out!

Daddy and the zoo

So I am starting to discover the joys of playing dress up or being silly with kitchen towels. Of my own desiring, I asked Mommy to tie this around me.

On Saturday, Daddy finally got to go to the zoo with me. It was CRAZY! There were so many mothers there for a special mother's day thing. It was still loads of fun.

Mommy and I really like the zoo. Mostly because she lets me run around like I'm a big kid. I don't even really pay attention to the animals. These pictures are taken in front of the Ape House. Such fun.

The House

This post is for Oma and Apa...it lacks cuteness in photos because I'm only in one...and even then I'm sleeping, but this is to show them how much we changed their house! It's still a work in progress specifically my room, but this shows pretty much how things are gonna be for awhile.

Rainy Day

Thanks for the rain gear, Grandma and Aunt Angie! Today was the perfect day to use it. Wish it was WARMER considering it is May 1st and we had to turn the fireplace on! Uncle Marty and Aunt Angie are actually here visiting and it's loads of fun! I actually LIKE Uncle Marty up here. Plus he brought all my toys that I had forgotten about!
