Fun Fun Fun

Mommy apologizes for the full week in between posts. It has been just a little stressful moving into a mostly furnished house (but not with your own things) and then Mommy started a new job! Apparently, she did such a good job when she worked in SLC before that her old boss wanted her back. So we're trying to balance new house, new job, and finding a sitter for a very um "attached" 19 month old (THAT's ME!) The best candidates are 37 weeks pregnant, 35 weeks pregnant, and still in school. Sigh. May is going to be a long month. But I'll get lots of time with my daddy!

This last week I got play with my cousins Chase and Romney 3 times!! We went to the Children's Museum together, then Mommy and Daddy took me to their house to play after church, and THEN Aunt Rachel picked me and took me for a whole afternoon. It's a good thing she's so nice and that I love Romney and Chase so much.

Today Mommy took me to the zoo which was fun, but she and I both really miss the WARM sunny weather...not even HOT just WARM! We were quite jealous when we talked to Grandma and Uncle Eric and found out that it's hot enough to swim and go to the lake in St. George. We can't wait to visit at the end of May!

Here's some photos of how I've been wreaking havoc for my parents. I insisted on going into the garage and while Mommy and Daddy were putting the car seat back in the car... I did this!

Happy Birthday, Oma!

Sorry that it will be a day late for you! We kept hoping to see you on Skype! (That blessed invention.) In tribute to your birthday, we went to the zoo. You were there for my first trip to the zoo and you always took my cousins so we thought it was perfect. Plus it was Earth Day! Bonus!
I kissed the bronze tiger cub. I also sat on him, but he was HOT from the sun.

I picked the ostrich to ride on the carousel this time.

These next pictures Mommy blames entirely on Grandpa whether it was living with him for 7 months or purely genetics. It's his fault that this was my favorite part of the zoo.

We did it!

Well we did it. We finally moved. Mommy ran out of excuses to stay in St. George! Luckily the weather has been great for the two days we've been here! We even went to the zoo and played outside!

Mommy had a birthday and the weather cooperated for our last Saturday in St. George. It was BEAUTIFUL! So we went and played at the park. Daddy even got in the very cold water with me! But my favorite park will always be the swing!

Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

Happy Birthday to my Grandpa! I may not always act like I like you, but at least I'm cute sometimes, right? And we're sorry the weather didn't get the memo that it's your birthday. Mommy hates cold and cloudy too! Here's some great Easter pictures which was also the day we celebrated Uncle Eric's birthday. Yummy cake!

Happy Easter, everyone! My Easter pics are forth coming, but I'd like to share you with photos of a great weather day in St. George from earlier in the week. I got to go to the lake with Mommy and Grandpa and Uncle Marty and Aunt Angie. It was SO much fun. The water was still FREEZING so anyone who got in to wakeboard wore the dry suit, but I still had fun putting my feet in and hanging out in my swimsuit and the sun!

Somebody missed her Daddy!

My Daddy has been up in cold SLC (where Mommy fervently keeps trying to avoid until the snow stops!) for 2 whole weeks! I finally got to see my Daddy on Sunday evening when he came back! Unfortunately, he left again Monday afternoon to go play in Las Vegas with some old friends. (Is this fair? He wasn't even AROUND when I was sick, let alone getting puked on, and he's the one playing in Vegas? Mommy says it's okay because Daddy works very hard.)

This is how I spent Sunday evening. Daddy came up the steps to the front door where I was waiting and I just latched on. I didn't even crack a smile until I put my arms around his neck.



Uncle Eric also got an early birthday present. A dog! She's a border collie and he named her Roxie. I'm finally feeling well enough that I actually like playing with her. Instead of going on our usual Sunday hike, this last Sunday, Grandpa, Grandma, Mommy, and I took Roxie and Beanie for a little "hike". Roxie hadn't been on a leash before so we were kind of teaching her. Uncle Eric couldn't go because I gave him an early birthday present too: The Pukes. Sorry! We'll get you a nice card I promise. Anyway, my favorite part of the hike was when I got to walk Beanie, the angry chihuahua that my Grandma calls a pet.

This will be Mommy's second no photo blog. Very scary very intimidating.

First of all, what the heck happened to my summer weather?? We were having so much fun in the pool and getting tan lines. Now it's been nothing but wind and yucky clouds. At least we're not in SLC with Daddy...too much white stuff up there! It at least feels like spring down here. More of the lion than the lamb kind of spring though.

And then to top it all off, I've been sick. So sick. I got my 18 month shots on Tuesday which was no big deal really. I cried when it happened and told the lady "bye" mid-sob. But that night at 1 am I woke Mommy up by throwing up all over her and the bed. So we get out of bed, Mommy strips us naked and washes us off with wipees, takes the sheets off the bed, goes to the bathroom (she is 5 months pregnant!), puts new sheets on, starts the load of icky laundry, and then tucks us back in thinking it was just a one time deal. I mean I got shots, maybe the Motrin upset my tummy. So what do I do? I wake Mommy up at 3 am by throwing up all over us again. So Mommy repeats the process mentioned early (including going to the bathroom), but this time she just throws a flat sheet on the bed and curls up with me AND a towel. Good thing she did. I woke us up at 5, 6, and 7 am with the dry heaves and water puke.

This is where we interject a HURRAY FOR GRANDPA! Grandpa gave me some delightful medicine that took away the pukes! Unfortunately, this medicine doesn't help with diarrhea. So Mommy and I have spent the last 2 days sitting on the couch watching TV, movies, anything really...I just want to sit there and be held. And right now I am sound asleep on the bed despite having slept almost 12 hours last night. We hope this ends soon.
