Girl Time!

We just took a Girls Trip to Disneyland.  Just Mommy and her two best sidekicks!  Mommy wanted us to see what Disneyland looked like at Christmas since she had never seen it either.  We did a lot being together...in a both good and bad kind of way.  We seriously missed our daddy. Top three reasons  why: 1. He's a great diffuser between us high spirited gals! 2. Mommy got tired! 3. She could actually only hold ONE of us, even when it was scary!

Otherwise it was FOUR days of Disney fan.  We left in the morning on Sunday and played at Disneyland right when we got there, spent Monday and Tuesday from opening to close, and then snuck back for a bonus four hours this morning before heading home!

We saw Christmas decorations galore:

It snows on Main Street during a lighting ceremony for the castle and at the end of the fireworks.  We caught both AND the Christmas Parade on our final full day.  So worth it.  Kind of emotional for Mommy.

I rode Go Coaster by myself since Momma had to sit with Cara.  And I LOVED it.  And I also spazzed it up for the camera:

Cara was hilarious and wouldn't give us a great picture to save her life.  She also did a lot more whining on this trip than any previous.  (This is where we think Daddy was needed as a diffuser!)

We also met never before seen celebrities...

I showed Sally a picture of me as her on Halloween and she showed Jack! They loved it!

It was a great trip and I think Mommy will post a more wordy account tomorrow.  She's pooped too.

Hermes' Week...

Our elf, Hermes, has had a great week.

He made himself a fort and had Tinker Bell over, gave us REINDEER noses in our sleep, and got captured by Obi Wan Kinobe (to get out of that he made my bed AND put away my laundry for me!)

I think one night he also slept right above my head on the shelf on my bed.

My favorite though was when got caught eating cookie dough and then the next morning we found him taking a "North Pole" bath in our freezer!

He spent a day in our Christmas tree and then this morning we found him playing the Wii!

Thailand again!

Our Grandma and Grandpa are in Thailand for the third time in as many years I think!  So this post is for them.  To show them our sweet little faces because they obviously miss us!  If you are so inclined to read about what they are doing in Thailand, check out my Grandpa's blog underneath our "Blogs We Stalk"!

Hermes Returns

Really quick here are some of the pictures from Daddy's phone when we went to Temple Square.

Mommy would like to thank Aunt Rachel for her new coat. It's very much loved although it hasn't been nearly cold enough in St. George for it be of use now that we are home!

And now the real reason for post.  When we returned home from our Thanksgiving trip this is what Cara and I found in the bathroom:

Our elf, Hermes, had returned from the North Pole!!  He left us a note on the mirror and has been watching us ever since.  Sometimes he can be really naughty (or silly is what I think.)

He's been up to a few more tricks and we'll try and post what he's been doing each week!  We love him and look forward to finding him each morning.

Thanksgiving

We had wonderful time up in Salt Lake City.  We got a bonus day compared to our usual jaunts up north!  I played with my friends, Ruby and Jon, at their house on Wednesday night and then spent time at the zoo with them on Thanksgiving to watch the animals get fed special food.  Actually, we are just remembering that Daddy has all those pictures on HIS phone and they have not been downloaded.  We will have to edit this post later!

The Thanksgiving meal was eaten at Oma and Apa's with most of the Romney Family.  It was delicious and I only ate mashed potatoes and bread just like I said I would.  (In fact, the night before I couldn't sleep because I was so worried that Daddy was going to make me eat Turkey.  He let me off the hook!)

Aunt Rachel apparently cooked her very first turkey and from what everyone says, it was delicious.

I almost forgot Mommy's favorite moment!  She ate pumpkin pie for breakfast!  After all, it was HER pie!

The Friday after Thanksgiving was the kick off for the Romney Christmas season.  We decided since Uncle Adam and Aunt Whitley were here from Seattle that we would do our Christmas gift exchange already!

We started the day with fun at the zoo for most of us! (Aunt Rachel has most of the pictures from this day on her good camera and we will make silent plea hear for an email with copies!)

You know, my Oma's changing a little.  I hear my parents say that the Alzheimer's has done this or done that, but after this weekend, I think it has made her more fun.  She plays with us kiddos pretty darn well and always seems to know what the best games will be.  I sure do love her!

After the zoo, we went to see the new move "Rise of the Guardians" with just about all of us again.  This time Lainey and Rosey and Smith were able to join us!  I was so excited to sit by Laine and it was so darn cute to hear Rosey demand to sit by Oma!  The movie was followed by the commencement of the Christmas Pizza Feast, family pictures, and gift giving.  Again another shout out to Aunt Rachel for copies of said pictures!  Mommy's pictures taken with her camera phone are TERRIBLE.  No need to even post them.  We loved all of our presents and enjoyed just hanging out together.  What a wonderful day!

Saturday we continued in the delightful vein of spending time with family.  We went with the Preslar Family down to City Creek and visited with Santa.  He had his own lantern and was so nice.  Unfortunately, Emma was a little frightened so the Mommys had to be in the photo but I think it still turned out nice!

A fabulous trip indeed!
