Fall trip to California!

Saturday morning after our Harvest Hop we woke up before the sun and headed to California! I had been begging for some beach time so we left with enough time to hit Huntington Beach.

It was a VERY hot day. It was over a 100 degrees, but luckily the Pacific ocean is nice and cold.

Even Iva liked the beach AND the water this time. Back in June, she tolerated our trips to the beach.

Had to prove that Mom's big old belly came too!

Iva kept begging to have Daddy bury her. 

Mom and Dad finally fulfilled a wish to get us all on a surrey for an hour together. It was actually pretty hard work for Mom and Dad to pedal, but we had a great time!

We planned on staying with Grandpa and Grandma Quaife and we were happy we did. We love playing around with Chloe and Grandpa on the floor.

We even went to church with them and they had cool activity bags for us.

Iva's hair seemed to love the weather and was super curly.

Aunt Jeanette played in the jacuzzi with us.

Sunday night, we moved to a hotel next to Disneyland. Mom had gotten us tickets to Mickey's Halloween party! We went and hung out in Downtown Disney for an hour or so before bed. Our hotel had a free shuttle to get there and Iva managed to get herself buckled without Mom even noticing or helping in any way!

We were pretty exhausted and excited to sleep in our hotel beds.

It felt good to just sack out!

Harvest Hop

We had our school's annual Harvest Hop last weekend. We really like it. We get to sing and dance with our grade.

But before I forget, that afternoon Mom snuck away with Iva and Cara onto the boat with Grandma and Grandpa...

Now onto the Harvest Hop! This was the only picture Mom grabbed of the whole thing because she was helping.

But she did get a good video!'

Fall is here...almost..finally...Halloween too!

Fall weather has been taking its precious time showing up to St. George, but fall activities are still in full swing. Dixie State University had their homecoming week and put together a drive in movie up at our old airport. They showed "Inside Out". We loved it because we got to sit ON TOP OF THE VAN. There were so many people there though!

We also got our school pictures back! Mom was gone in Cancun so Aunt Angie came and helped do our hair. The pictures turned out cute!

 It's also Halloween and so that means decorating sugar cookies. Especially if Aunt Angie is around!

The weather is cooling down, subtly, but it's happening! We were even able to ride bikes over to Grandma and Grandpa's on Sunday. Dad pulled out our old bike trailer and got some bikes working so that we could go as a whole family!

Mom is 33 weeks pregnant in this picture! She was pretty proud of me though for doing the 5 miles to Grandma's and then 5 miles going home. We had to race a storm and we won!

Mom and Dad finally see a soccer game!

We are half way through soccer season and Mom and Dad finally got to see some soccer games! Actually they got to see games the week before too, but they did miss our first two weeks of games.

Cara is on the Pink Sharks and she is a much more aggressive player this year. She's still the smallest one out there though!

I'm on the Green Scorpions. I have two friends from school on the team which I was really excited about!

Celebrating Siena

The day before I turned eight, Mom and I got to go to our special Women's meeting for church. Only girls eight and older are invited and so she made it a big deal and took me out to dinner with Grandma and Aunt Angie and Aunt Hailey. It was a little boring, but I still felt grown up!

My birthday was also the day of our Primary Program in church and so I dressed up in my new white dress and made sure I looked my best!

So did my sisters!

That night, we went over to Grandma's house and I got to open my presents! Everyone was so nice to me and I got plenty of things to keep me happy including an awesome mermaid tail blanket made by Aunt Hailey that I sleep in each night.

Mom and Dad surprised me with roller blades. I'm not awesome at them...yet! But I love practicing. Mom went and bought me wrist, elbow and knee pads the next day at Target.

Can't forget the yummy cake!

I had to wait until Friday to have my friends party. This year I asked to go to Fiesta Fun and play Laser Tag! I got to invite five friends.

Fiesta Fun was all decorated for Halloween. Here are me, Carmendee, Tiauna, Bella, Jayley, and Ali!

My mom bought a bunch of tokens while we waited for our turn to play laser tag. Bella hit the Whack and Win directly on to get the 1000 ticket jackpot!!!! The tickets just kept coming. Luckily, she decided to share the wealth and we all agreed to split our tickets.

Here we are waiting for Laser Tag! It turns out it's kind of dark which was a little scary for some of us who hadn't gone in yet. Ali ended up deciding not to do it, but we still had so much fun and I can't wait to do it again!
