The Rest of our Disney Trip

If we had to rate our Disney trips thus far, we might actually put Iva and Daddy's birthday trip at the bottom. The parks were crazy busy and it felt like we just didn't get anything done! It was really weird. It was fun to ride Haunted Mansion a bunch of times but we always needed fast passes and the Jingle Cruise was neat, but Daddy and the little girls were the only ones who made it on Small World because of how packed it was.

We still celebrated plenty!

We met Tigger, Eeyore and Pooh again. Iva did NOT want to walk up on her own!

I did all the bravery challenges in Redwood Creek. She's very good at bouldering!

We met Santa and told him that I wanted a Furby, Cara wanted an Elsa doll and Iva just wanted to get away from him.

We also met, Donna. She had this fun dog on her arm and she was very silly to talk to!

We came back on Sunday (we were naughty) and got in a few more rides before heading home.

The thing we really loved though was getting to meet Baymax and Hiro from the movie Big Hero 6!

Now Mom knows that Daddy has some great photos on his phone so we will have to add them on at some point!

The Avengers Run

Remember when Dad ran in the Disneyland Half Marathon? Mom discovered while registering him that Disneyland does Kid Races and they are actually really cheap, but you have to move FAST to register and she got all flustered and never got us signed up. Well Disney added another half marathon to their line up! The Avengers Half. It was a little too pricey to register Dad again (which is a shame because it was the FIRST one!) but she wanted to get us in on the kids races and this time it worked! All THREE of us got registered. Yes, Iva was going to race. She had to sign us up so long ago though that she had no idea if Iva would be walking so we signed her up for the diaper dash. Funny now since she RUNS.

We picked up our swag on Friday with Mom.

So Saturday morning came and instead of heading straight into the park, we headed to our race starts!

Iva was very funny and kept running off! Mommy really should have made her do the 100 m dash!

Cara had Dad run with her. She did great! She ran 200 m through Downtown Disney.

I made a friend at the start line, her name was Savannah and she was almost 8. We crossed the finish line holding hands! I had to run 400 m!

Check out Iva's race track! She was very funny and kept doing being huge laughs! She ran right for the finish line and then turned around before the end TWICE! It made everyone laugh.

It was kind of chaotic, but it was a fun memory!

Disney Girls Trip!

So when at least two of the sisters have annual passes to Disneyland what is the logical thing to do? Take a quick girls trip to Disney! Now maybe taking my mom who got her boot off her broken foot the day before AND is still not medically clear to ride roller coasters after her disc replacement in her neck was not the BEST plan, but hey she did great! We didn't even rent a wheelchair. 

Thursday, Nov 13 we headed into the park, starting at California Adventure!

I somehow still wound up on California Screamin' alone!

Becca, Mom, and Hailey had all never ridden Radiator Springs Racers. We had to laugh at this photo. Mom's hat was featured on every ride whether she was holding it or taking it off.

We really enjoyed the Christmas decorations.

We tortured my poor mother on Mickey's Fun Wheel's swinging gondolas. It was quite funny. She was sincerely holding on.

Pete drove down Thursday night with my girls because they were doing a kids run at Disneyland on Saturday so I met them at Grandpa's and my girls got to join us in Disneyland on Friday. The other four only had until about 2 pm to play so I wanted my girls for the rest of the day. Daddy had to work.

We enjoyed the newest holiday ride, "The Jingle Cruise". It was pretty cute.

It was fun to let our family see how much fun we have in Disneyland.

I think Siena got to ride Indiana Jones probably 8 times this trip. She was finally tall enough without any sneaky shoes! Also we normally don't make that kind of effort!

I love my family and my sisters. It will be interesting to see who Eric marries because Marty's wife has really worked out!

Birthday celebrations!

Well today is our Daddy's birthday and so it seems appropriate that we finally post about our birthday celebrations. We had a little party for Daddy, Iva and Uncle Marty right before Iva's birthday.

Mom made her a Minnie Mouse cake. There was SO MUCH FROSTING.

Iva's present has been awesome for everyone. Thanks, Grandma! Cara and I play with it as much or more than Iva. (It's a Fisher Price version of Disneyland. It even has a Dumbo ride and tea cups!)

Chocolate is my favorite!

We love our, Daddy. He's the greatest and I think we say it at least once a year on his birthday. But seriously? What Daddy puts up with Disneyland like our Daddy? (There are only TWO that we can think of who would be willing.) Us big girls pick Dad over Mom every time. (Iva is a little Momma's girl.)

Oh and really quick, here is what Mom and Dad gave Iva. They pulled down the rocking horse and she LOVES it.
