Pre Thanksgiving...

It's been a long ten days since we've blogged!  Mommy is tired.  The big thing she did to start off the whole first week was to paint our wall.  At the moment we do not have the energy to look into a before picture.  Suffice to say when Daddy came home from his weekend in SLC not only was his office all wrapped up, but he had a new accent wall in the living room.

It used to be the same brown color seen on the walls around!

And then the project Mommy really wanted to get working on started.  She wanted to paint our fireplace white.  She's wanted to do this since she saw a friend do it on her blog almost TWO years ago.

It took more than three coats of paint and there are still problems and major touch ups needed.

It looks even better now with all the tape gone but Mommy was really ready for it to just be done with because she also had to pack us up and take us to SLC for the holiday weekend and then start putting up decorations!

Oh and at preschool we had a Thanksgiving Feast!  I was a pilgrim and was even brave enough to try celery!

How about that Daddy?

Hello and good morning!  We are here to wish our Daddy a HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Every year we take the time to mention how awesome he is and this year is no different!  Last Sunday morning, he took the time to help us make a pretend birthday cake out of paper.  3D.  Complete with candles that blow out...

He is also amazing because he is currently training for the Half Ironman in May.  He gets up early and gets to the gym and doesn't complain.

He works hard every day to bring home the money so that Mommy can do fun stuff with us instead of being at work too!

He loves to read books to us at night.

He takes us outside to play.

He can be MUCH nicer than Mommy!

He also went to Salt Lake this weekend to play in his old band WITHOUT US!  So we decided to have some fun with his home office!!

I even put a rubber snake on his chair and laughed myself silly last night when I made him go sit on it!  (I may have been up almost 2 1/2 hours past my bedtime and getting delirious!)

Larsen's Celebrate!

My Mommy's side of the family had two celebrations here in the beginning of November.  The first one was watching our baby Lexi get blessed at church.  It's kind of neat because Aunt Angie and Uncle CJ go to our same church building just a different time!

We also had birthday cake for Uncle Marty after Mommy and Daddy went and watched the new James Bond movie "Skyfall".  Lucky!

Kidnapping!

Mommy did something almost unforgivable!  She went to Disneyland without us AGAIN!  However, we decided it was a good cause and I forgave her.  Mostly because she promised to take me back again soon!

Mommy kidnapped one of her dear friends, Sarah, for her 30th birthday.  Sarah was the whole reason Mommy went to Disneyland on Leap Day with a bunch of other women.  Sarah loves Disneyland and she bought an annual pass and had only been able to use TWO days so far.  She kept complaining to Mommy but Mommy was already planning her kidnapping and it made it very hard to look into sad eyes pleading to go.

So Mommy and another friend, Cami, got the car already and had the other bestie, Julia, secretly pack a bag and obtain her pass.  They went to her house, she was told to grab shoes, her wallet, and go get in the car.  Then her kids and mom and Julia yelled "You're going to DISNEYLAND!" and she screamed, cried, hyperventilated and then proceeded to have an amazing 24 hours.  Mommy found out about extra birthday magic that we didn't know happened at Disneyland.  It was WONDERFUL.  Some of the Christmas decorations were up and Sarah and Cami had never been to Cars Land.

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween.  (Even though the date on this blog reflects it being posted on Halloween, it was actually posted over a week late. That's how awesome of a Halloween it was...Mommy was just too overwhelmed to post it!)

My preschool performed two little songs for our Moms and Dads while dressed up in our awesome costumes.

And then we had so much fun at our church's Trunk or Treat and Chili dinner.  We got tons of candy!

Our favorite part might have been handing out treats.  Observe:

Okay actually blogger is being very strange about us uploading our heckling video.  That's right.  We kind of heckled trick or treaters.  Or rather we were trying to get them to come stop at our house.  It was quite hilarious!  We'll try again later!

Then we hit up Grandma and Grandpa's neighborhood for a couple of full size candy bars!  Good eatins'!  Of course we actually traded in 3 lbs of candy for $3 from our dentist but we kept the best pieces for ourselves!

Oh yes and I almost forgot! On the Monday before Halloween, I got to go see the Odyssey Dance Company perform Thriller! out at Tuachan.  It was a Mommy-Daughter date and I loved it.  At first I was afraid it would be scary but when the first number was Michael Jackson's "Thriller" I turned to Mommy and said "This isn't scary, this is silly!" And then laughed maniacally through the number.

We actually knew one of the zombies.  It was Mommy's friend Lainie's daughter! Scary huh?

Trip up to the Frosty North or for candy and cake....

We spent the weekend up in Salt Lake City playing with our Preslar cousins.  We love them so.  We spent all of Thursday slicking up the house (so that Mommy could come home to no chores) and packing our bags.  To be honest, we get almost as excited to go to SLC as we do to Disneyland and it's MUCH cheaper and a shorter drive!

It was so cold though.  Oh it was so cold.  We spent our first night and morning with Oma and Apa enjoying their fire.  I might have freaked Daddy out a little when I woke up however!  I woke up startled and looked at the foot of my bed which was in Apa's solarium and exclaimed:

"Oh! It's gone!"

Daddy: "What's gone?"

Me: "The white face with no nose and no mouth and black eyes." (said very calmly and matter of fact)

Daddy: "Huh.  Was it there before?"

Me: "Yeah, I woke up in the middle of the night when it was dark and it was at the end of my bed." (again very matter of fact)

Daddy: "You mean outside?"

Me: "No.  I mean inside by my bed." (again no fear...)

We then grabbed our gear and spent the rest of the weekend causing mayhem and mischief with Aunt Rachel, Uncle Troy, Chase, Romney and Emma.  It was so delightful.  We attended their Halloween Carnival in our full costumes this year and got candy...

The next day Cara and I dragged our parents to "Boo at The Zoo" which was trick or treating at the zoo.  They had no idea and were ASTOUNDED at the parking problems.  We were also not dressed in our costumes but we still managed to get a lot of candy and see the animals.

Then we ran back to the Preslars and helped Aunt Rachel get ready for Chase's birthday party.  He turned 10!  We mostly helped by taking Emma up the zoo for our second trip and keeping her out of the way during bowling...

We joined the craziness of the remainder of a birthday party back at the house and ate so much cake and frosting.  Okay actually just Mommy and Daddy...so much.

We also got to eat more cake and frosting on Sunday when we had a family get together for Chase again!  So much sugar was ingested.  Again mostly by Mommy.  We didn't take a whole lot of pictures but it was a great little jaunt up north.

And just as a side note...we might be trying this next year.  Look at these costumes?!

October stuff
