August 6th was a big day for the Romney Family! In our little home, it was Mom and Dad's TENTH anniversary. Ten years of married life. It's been awesome. Or so they say. It was also Oma and Apa's FIFTIETH anniversary! This of course called for a slightly impromptu trip up north to have dinner with them. Daddy was actually flying in to Salt Lake City for a connecting flight to St. George anyway so he decided to miss his plane and just stay up there and that left us girls to drive up the state! We did pretty well. Mom just smashed us all in the second row!
Ten years later and my how our family has grown!
We of course made an obligatory visit to the zoo despite some slightly rainy and kind of chilly weather.
We took these fun photos because it was kind of an empty day at the zoo and then Mom smashed her screen on her phone by essentially throwing the phone on the ground. Dang it! At least the phone still worked!
Aunt Rachel really does go through extraordinary measures to help us sleep comfortably at her house, but one morning found us all in the same bed snuggling. It was fun and a bit squished...
A bonus to this trip was that the Tour Of Utah bike event was taking place and one of the stages goes right past the Preslar abode. We had to go be the best kind of spectators we know how!
These awesome horns were free. Can you believe it? The moms looked less thrilled about our acquisition!
Sunday morning Mom found the three of us girls cuddling and giggling together...sisters really don't get any better!
