This year our Larsen Family reunion took place over the 24th of July instead of the 4th of July. I was a little sad because our cousin, Josie, couldn't attend this year, but we still had fun!
Grandma and Grandpa rented a beautiful house right by the Jordanelle reservoir up in Midway, UT. Aunt Angie and her girls rode up with Mom and us ladies early on Thursday so we could sneak in a quick, hot, but fun trip to the zoo!
Iva looked so grown up at the zoo. Mom said it reminded her of being pregnant with Cara and watching me run around the zoo!
The house was so fun and everyone appreciated that it was a little bit cooler up the mountain!

Friday we spent over at Double Grandma and Grandpa's house. We played on the tramp, the horse swing, fed Little Buck and kind of ran away from the goat. We even got to do pony cart rides!
I loved playing with Elspbeth. She's our cousin that is just between Cara and I in age!
Iva honestly loved all the animals. She kept trying to feed the horse and goat. She would hug the dog any chance she got and would beg to go on the tramp.
Funny enough she wouldn't ride in the pony cart without Mom. In fact, Cara never even got on the pony cart! I was the only one who went for more than one ride!
We went over to the Homestead Resort and for the first time ever my mom went inside The Crater! It's this awesome hot spring that is 65 feet deep and 98 degree water!
You could even hike on top of it and look down. She had never done that either! So silly! She's been coming there for 25 or more years!
Iva also loved the horsey swing. She begged to go on it constantly.
Dad, Cara and I stayed Saturday to go on the annual backpacking trip into the Uintas. Mom and Iva drove home with Angie.
