It still feels like summer!

Last Monday, which now feels many moons ago, Mommy got lucky and won tickets for our little group of four to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. We were so excited! We had been singing the music and it was just so awesome that it all worked out. Iva was even good for Grandma and Grandpa! No babies allowed!

And that kind of started our week off just right. In fact, we went to the lake on Thursday. And when I say I we, I actually mean, Mommy with Iva and Cara. It was beautiful!

They even forced Cara out on to the tube with Grandpa. She liked it in the end.

They made up for the lake trip by whisking me off to our final hurrah at city pool directly after school. Good bye, St. George City Pool...until next summer!

The Girls

We girls hang out a lot. Mommy and her crew. Daddy is such a hard worker and he plays as often as he can, but mostly it's just us four being silly.

Mommy let us stop and see the dinosaur. It was too hot to sit on!

Cara got a bike for her birthday from Grandma and Grandpa. She LOVES it.

And this little bean has been up to mischief. All the time. She loves being mobile and is trying desperately to walk.

Summer rainstorms, Sunday Selfies, and Sakura fun

We FINALLY got some good rainstorms in St. George while we were in town. We haven't had many in summer thunderstorms that dropped rain. We took full advantage one night.

And then one day Daddy even took a quick break to dance with us!

SOAKED

Iva has also taken to squirming during church and we found she loves selfies!

We took time to go out to eat at one of those Hibachi Japanese restaurants called Sakura, I'm still emotionally scarred from going there when I was three. I was very unsure, but in the end I LOVED IT. I thought our chef was very funny!

And this beautiful baby is cutting her two bottom teeth. They are almost all the way through! We can't believe it. Mommy wasn't even looking for them! She wasn't expecting it for another three months!

Salt Lake City, St. George, and Seattle All Together

The weekend before Cara started preschool, Mommy grabbed me from school early on Friday and we headed up north! Daddy couldn't join us but it was an opportunity that could not be passed up. Our Seattle cousins were in TOWN!

We also went to the zoo with Oma and Apa. It was delightful. We missed the Seattle Romneys for this one.

We then went to Seven Peaks to cool off in the afternoon. No pictures there. Mommy was down a hubby and her hands were always full. So enjoy some pictures of our evening walk to the park.

Cara Does Preschool...Again

Cara had her first day of preschool on Monday! Okay it's more like her third first day of preschool. She has already done a year and a half of preschool, but  Mom made the decision to keep her for one more year. And Cara couldn't be happier. She loves Miss Tracy and Summit Preschool!

She refuses to wear anything but her Summit Kids shirt. She always wants the prize for wearing it!

End of Summer Freedom

Well we are in to the school year now. Cara has started preschool and I'm gone for six hours a day and already Mom misses the freedom of Summer. Sniff.

But don't worry. We made the most of the end. This is what we were up to in that first week of August.
