Quick lets do 2 more days at Disneyland!

The only day that Daddy could join us at Disneyland was Sunday. We normally don't do Disneyland on a Sunday for a number of reasons, but one of them is usually the crowds. We were pretty surprised by how tame the crowd was. We were able to do a number of rides quickly and easily. Plus the temperatures were still down, barely 80 degrees! Plus, we were able to get Cara on all the mountain rides! Big Thunder, Space and Splash and then we also got her on Star Tours. Big day for us!

We also met a ton of characters that we have never have!

Brer Bear was quite silly with my ears. He danced with them and sneezed on them.

Iva was ADORABLE when she met Minnie Mouse. She shrieked and giggled and thoroughly enjoyed her. They played peek a boo.

Another big moment, we kind of snuck me on Indiana Jones!!! We had to put me in my tallest shoes and maybe add some napkins, but I went twice and loved it!

This picture cracks Mommy up because it's still light out and all three of us were CRASHED! It was only like 7 pm!

And then on Monday we went back for just a few more hours of fun, but this time Uncle CJ could join us! Doesn't he look hilarious squeezing on to Go Coaster with Cara?!

And for our final ride, we talked Cara into going on Tower of Terror. She kind of hated it, then kind of liked and then promised to do it again!

WHAT A GREAT TRIP! We are still tired considering we got in at 2:30 Tuesday morning!

Huntington Beach!!!

We really loved our California vacation. We loved playing with the Jensens. We joined them for a Saturday on Huntington Beach where they had a night in a hotel.

It was a gorgeous, sunny day. Ironically, the temperature was continuing its downward trend and it wasn't even supposed to hit 72 degrees at the beach, but it was plenty warm. In fact, we didn't have umbrellas so any warmer and I don't think we would have lasted as long! We didn't realize that it was Lexi's first time at the ocean! She loved the water and sand...or maybe she needed a warm up session!

Iva's second time at the ocean was very successful. She loved being allowed to play in the sand unrestrained!

Daddy got to come play with us all day this time because he didn't have to work, yay!

Cara never really loves the ocean part but she still had a good time!

I, however, LOVE the ocean. Mommy and Daddy took turns playing in the waves. Next time we will have to rent a boogie board!

We walked to the end of the pier and got yummy ice cream!

We also got to spend some quality time with Grandpa Great, Grandma Great and Jeanette. Grandpa was nice enough to barbecue for us. We even hopped in the jacuzzi for awhile.

Oh man Disneyland

I know. We do these posts a lot. You almost have to wonder how Mommy can still take almost 200 pictures when we go to Disneyland? We probably have picture in EVERY spot you can have a picture at Disneyland, but hey we are kids which means we change daily! Plus we have never been to Disneyland with Lexi! We did a girls trip because both Daddy and Uncle CJ couldn't be there on Thursday! Boy, did we pick a funny weekend to go though! It was 104 degrees on Thursday. Not kidding. We got to Disneyland at about 9:30 am and look at how hot we already were!

Beat red faces and we had been there for 30 minutes. We knew we were in for it!

I got to ride Big Thunder Mountain after having it be closed for over a year. We LOVED it. The new effects were fun!

Mommy and Aunt Angie had to figure out how to handle the three little kids on their own. Mommy did it better, but only because Iva cries like crazy for anyone else!

She was such a great baby! We didn't even sun burn her! Yay for Mommy!

We were starting to die just a little bit by the end of the day. Lexi and Angie had gone home almost three hours earlier and we were still trucking!

Then on Friday, Mommy decided to go with just us four girls. We had a GREAT time. We basically played in California Adventure and never made it over to Disneyland itself! And besides it was a whole 10 degrees cooler it was only in the 90s!

Turns out our new favorite ride all together is the swinging gondolas on the Mickey Mouse Fun Wheel. WE LOVE IT.

I got to ride on Jumpin' Jellyfish by myself because I was tall enough and I am "seven". Plus Mommy could see me the whole time so she let me go!

And after spending the morning and most of the afternoon at Disneyland, we headed inland to Riverside to help watch Lexi while her mom and dad went to a beautiful wedding. They were staying at the Mission Inn which is a beautiful historical mission from the earliest years in California. We played in the pool where Lexi and Daddy bonded and then watched a movie up in their room. Kinda fun! The traffic was a BUGGER though!
