Halloween 2013

We had a great Halloween!  Cara had her party the day before and I got to come.  We enjoyed watching Miss Tracy put on a mad scientist show!

We managed to carve pumpkins the NIGHT before Halloween.  And one of our pumpkins was already mushy so we only carved one!

The next day I got to have my Halloween parade and party!  I look particularly awesome because of all the princesses around me and my vampireness.

The ward trunk or treat with the chili cook off was fun as usual!

End of pregnancy

We have reached the final countdown on Mom's pregnancy!  We could meet our little sister any day! So basically we have to keep busy so we don't go a little nutty!  On Saturday we headed over to Zion to help Daddy find some of the autumn colors he needed so badly.  (He's much more of a cold weather person than Mom!)  It was a beautiful day and we decided to try out Angel's Landing since we only do that hike at the end of November when it tends to be much colder!  Typically ice.  

We were great hikers.  Cara and I just kept plodding along!

We made it all the way to Scout's Lookout!

We went up and down in 2 hours!  Not bad for a 4 year old, a 6 year old and a 37 week pregnant woman!

And then on Sunday we had a slightly impromptu photo shoot with the extended family.  We had a friend who needed some examples of holiday poses for cards and so we helped.  Okay maybe Cara and I weren't as much help.

Mom and Dad also took us to see the Odyssey Dance Theater's Thriller performance.  The weather was terrible during the day but it held nicely for us.  We just made sure to bundle up!

We were still happy at intermission.  Some of the dances were scary but we understand it was pretend!

Mommy is still teaching her fitness classes.  But she's slowing down a bit.  She might be done this week!

Staheli Farm

This year Staheli Farm got to see a lot of Mommy! She went to Witches Night Out with Aunt Angie.  They had fun being silly together.  Aunt Angie didn't realize how festive most of the other witches would be.

They won prizes though and ate lots of little appetizers.  Check out those doughnuts!

And THEN the next night Aunt Angie kidnapped Mommy and made her go into the Field of Screams with Aunt Hailey and their cousin, Adalee!

They really did stop Mommy and make sure she knew what she was doing when she went into the haunted field!  They were worried that she was trying to go into labor!  Which she says that she wouldn't have minded so much...

And then the NEXT day on Saturday (after making Daddy do a lot of chores) we went back as a family to do the pumpkin patch and take Halloween pictures!

Mommy looked like she was trying to smuggle out one of the pumpkins!

Just 4 more weeks to go!

Hopefully this isn't a future glimpse at my teenage years....

We enjoyed the corn maze again with its Pirate theme.

We were the leaders for our little family!
