Mommy and Daddy have been VERY busy preparing for the move. My house is slowly disappearing into boxes! I've been busy too! I discovered a box with a pretty doll in it, and I dragged it after my mom until she opened it. I acted like a two year old at Christmas. I tried to help get it out of the box. So pretty!

HAPPY 25th ANNIVERSARY GRANDMA AND GRANDPA L!
No pictures for this post. It just simply must be noted that Siena had a bad day, what a day Siena had.
Things were going well until about 4:45pm. Then it was all downhill.
First there was the "Hanger in Mouth" incident that involved blood, a few frantic seconds of trying to figure out exactly where it was coming from, relief when no abnormalities were noted and then lots of distraction methods being employed to calm down a screaming infant. (I'm afraid the neighbors might begin suspecting foul play.)
Next, during one of said distraction methods, fingers were tightly clamped in a cell phone. More tears. More screaming. No less than 15 minutes later, Siena tried to crawl outdoors over the door tracks from the sliding glass door in the back. Again more tears, more screaming.
Finally it appeared that all was well. We ventured out for a trip to the aquarium with friends. Daddy taught Siena how to manage stairs. One trip down the slide all by herself...success! Then I went around to watch her navigate the stairs, myself at the bottom and Daddy at the top. I watched her carefully until she reached the top stair with her hands and then assumed that Daddy was on guard since he was at the top. He assumed I was on duty until he actually picked her up. I turned to talk to our friend Jen and her son Jonathan (from the play date) only to hear "SHERI LOOK OUT!" I turn back to watch Siena, albeit gracefully, do a backwards roll down the stairs towards me. I was to her in one bound and caught her before she completed another revolution, but let's just say there was again more tears and more screaming. She calmed down surprisingly quickly and was willing to try the stairs again and the slide. But still. My poor baby!
Now it must also be said that all the tears and screaming had to be noted because Siena has figured out how to throw a fit. She learned how to put the shrill in a scream. Love this new phase. Love it. Tantrums can be checked off the developmental check list.
I also now utter the phrase, "Is she bleeding?" with surprising regularity.
All in all, I feel that I had one my "Worst Mother Ever" days. Good thing there's a learning curve, right?
Mommy and Daddy have gone kind of crazy with the videos. I've proven too squirmy for still photos! Which is a shame because those are much easier to upload!
In these first two videos, I had learned how to get myself up to standing from sitting without any help. I was getting up and walking around for probably 10 straight minutes...until the camera came out. Then I was just silly.
These next two videos, I discovered my passion. Mom and Dad simply turned this game on and I went crazy with giggling and dancing!
This is post is going to be a marathon of videos. Mommy and daddy have tried for at least a month to capture a video of me walking. It proved to be elusive, but here in one place is the culmination of our efforts. They have yet to get a video of my best efforts, but these should give you an idea. Pray for them, I am dangerously mobile!
