June is normally the best of times for our little family. We adore summer, but between Mom having school and Oma passing it was really hard. And then Dad spent ten days up north AGAIN for Suzuki Institute and training for his cello teaching.
The day we got back from saying good bye to Oma, the grown ups in St. George had a pickle ball party. Marty and Hailey were getting ready to move to Missouri at the end of the month and they were trying to make memories. I think they had fun.
We sent a lot of bed time selfies to Dad while he was gone.
We managed to get out on the boat with Grandpa and Grandma. This didn't happen nearly enough this summer.
Iva taught herself how to do handstands.
The summer solstice is always a favorite day for Mom. She had us celebrate by going to the Main Street splash pad with ice cream and french fries and played until it got dark at 9 pm.
Mom also had her finals for her college class, but she wanted to show us the neat building she took classes in. It had fossils and all kinds of plants. It was great.
